Dan Bacalis is an attorney who is a widely recognized leader in the area of family law litigation. Dan has practiced primarily in the area of family law in Tarrant County (and the surrounding counties) for over 25 years. He was educated at the University of Michigan and the South Texas College of Law, and he is presently board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

To become board certified, an attorney needs to go through a process of peer reviews in order to be permitted to be tested to prove his special expertise and competence in the area of family law. In addition to the testing procedures, one must also have practical "hands-on experience" in actual cases tried and contested before judges and juries.

Dan has tried cases all over the state, although the bulk of his practice is in Tarrant County where he is well known among the family law attorneys, court personnel and presiding judges.

Dan's strength as a practitioner lies primarily in his desire and ability to make the legal process as simple as possible.
