Certified Family Law Specialist; Call (817) 498-4105

Since first opening my Tarrant County office in 1983, I have been dedicated to providing solutions for families throughout North Texas. As a Board Certified family law specialist, I am equipped to handle all my clients' concerns in Texas state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. My practice focuses on all concerns relating to family law.

I prepare for litigation from the moment I take on a case. In my 25 years of family law experience, I have earned a reputation as a trial lawyer. I am open to all forms of alternative dispute resolution, but when you are ready to go to trial, you often can achieve better results in negotiation. I take care to balance the need to negotiate a fair settlement with protecting the rights of my clients through litigation. Whether pursuing mediation or litigation, my top priority is meeting your goals and objectives.

I also understand how difficult it can be to handle the emotional aspects of a family law issue. I will help you and your family get the help you need, as I take care of all the legal technicalities. You do not have to go through this alone. I will make sure that you understand all your options, so you can make decisions that work for your family.

Board Certified Family Law Specialist

What does it mean to be a Board Certified family law specialist? The process starts with a series of peer reviews. If you pass this first step, you take a test, given by the Texas state bar. You must also demonstrate that you have real life experience handling family law matters before judges and juries. Only upon passing the test and demonstrating significant previous experience will one be certified as a family law specialist.
